India has a vast and unique
culture. India become the land of traditional sports like Kushti ,the Indian
Wrestling, Vallamkali, Jallikattu and many more.. One of the traditional
sports in India is Jallikattu also known Manju Virattu or Eru Thazhuvuthal
(hugging the bull) or Salli Kattu (Salli means coins and Kattu is a
package), it is one of the very difficult sports in India. Some people saying it
should be banned, it mean they are banning our Indian culture and tradition.
Now I am here to say about
something about how Jallikattu ban will effort our Indian economy and also
healthy of people.
First as an Indian I support
my culture and also Jallikattu. Before that I have a point to say, in India the
nutrition of food protects has been decreasing because most of foreign products
are in first row to serve us which cause harm to healthy. For example Milk, Indian
have huge market in this and our bulls and cows give healthy milk. So foreign country
import Jersy cows ( they give more milk per day this made farmers to get them even they milk is unhealthy which they don’t know)and taken our cows for they
business. This is where our breed get vanished so I suggest Government to stop
this export of our Indian breeds and take action on illegal smuggling of our
breeds. I request our Young stars to explain this to our farmers and about how harm is western cows.

Exciting breeds in India |
While coming to cattle
breeds in India 100 years ago they are 137 but now only 37 (may be less than
this). Tamil Nadu had six cattle breeds earlier and now we have lost the
Alambadi breed. The remaining breeds are Kangayam, Pulikulam, Umbalachery,
Barugur and Malai Maadu. There are a few more minor breeds without proper
documentation or care. As
constitution of India
Under article 48 of the constitution of India the state has to endeavour to preserve and improve the breeds and prevent slaughter of cows and calves and other draught and milk cattle. Hence the Union government has to intervene in this issue.
According to principles 1, 2 & 3 of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), to which India is a signatory state, livestock keepers are creators of breeds and custodians of animal genetic resources for food and agriculture; livestock keepers and the sustainable use of traditional breeds are dependent on the conservation of their respective ecosystems; traditional breeds represent collective property, they are the products of indigenous knowledge and the cultural expression of livestock keepers.
then
why they have not taken measures. If they have taken care of it we would not
have loosen our cattle breeds and not only Government but we are also
responsible for disappearing of our breeds some other reason why our natural cattle breed is been
vanished due to us which we have been unnoticed are :
- Using of TRACTOR by farmers which take less time to farm is main reason for vanishing our breeds.
- Use of western breeds since they give more milk.
- Moving from rural areas to urban areas which include no one have taken care of our breeds.
So now it is time to save
our rest of our breeds by union of government and people by Jallikattu.
Even Supreme court have placed stricter regulations on how to conduct, there is an monitoring body which can make and implement rules to enhance the safety of both the animals and men.but in some places they
conduct Jallikattu by hurting them (which is conducted only in 2 or 3 places
who don’t know how is this tradition should follow), by this evidence super court given judgement that this is an animal’s cruelty. So banning
Jallikattu is started from us who are unknown frauds. so we have to rectify this next time we conduct Jallikattu. Supreme Court should also understand when there is a doping scandal in any sports, the responsible
players, are banned, not the sport.
While coming to its history
it has been started before 4000 years, the seals of Indus Vally civilisation
depict it. Ancient Tamil poetry, known as Sangam literature (2nd BCE – 2nd CE),
has many detailed references to Eru Thazhuvuthal (hugging the bull).People of all religions, caste
and creed participate in this sport. The reasons to conduct Jallikattu are
- Who can defeat bull get gold coins as reward which is tied to bull and considered as great warrior.
- Other reason is for selecting brave and courage’s bride Groom
Indian Rural Economy
In
my view the main reason to follow Jallikattu in Kali Yuga is to save Indian culture and tradition ,cattle
breeds, farming and healthy milk
production in India which increase India economy
What happen if we banned Jallikattu?
- We will not only lose our breeds but also our self-sufficiency in milk production as well as promotion of organic farming
- Import of foreign breeds take place, multinational commercial companies will dominate the dairy industry in India
- It will effort our healthy as our daily life we use milk products like butter, bread, ice creams cheese
Now I will discuss about each point in
detail
Natural cattle breed
Raising cattle for milk production requires
close attention to breeding them so that they produce the most milk possible. There
are important considerations in breeding
for milk production.
- Selecting best cows and bull.
- Achieving the best breeding efficiency.
When we select good cow and bull they will be
good milk production.
For this bull which won in Jallikattu will be best one to use. So to know which
is best one Jallikattu should be happen.
Dairy Industry
While coming to dairy industry now let me say
about income in milk
One cow yields 20 liters of milk every day(It
may be more). Let us assume 2 months in a year is dry period for cow, so
calculation for 10 months is
Milk yield per cow per year
- 20 liters x 30 days x 10 months = 6000 liters
- Further loss due to unforeseen circumstances = 600 liters (10 % of yields)
- Total sale-able milk per cow per annum = 5400 liters
- The annual yield of milk per 10 cows = 54,000 liters.
- We buys 1 liter milk @ Rs.15 per liter
- The intensive given by Government (let assume for one states) Rs 2 per liter 54,000 liters x Rs. 17 = Rs. 9,18,000.00
- Total expenditure comes to 4,50,000.00
- The profit per annum is 4,68,000.00
So we just calculated for only one
state and only for 10 cows so if we calculate for whole India they is approx Rs.27,000 crore revenues has been getting from only milk. This
calculation is just my assumption. On
other side we have milk products like butter, bread, cheese etc…so by Indian
valued added market Rs. 80,000 crores business is going on
To know more reference about revenue in milk click here
So now you people can imagine if we do not have
natural cattle breeding the white Revolution will not happen. To continue this we need to keep our
bulls healthy for this sports like Jallikattu should happen.
Other side of White revolution (Bad side)
The 'White revolution" a project by
the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) which was the world's biggest dairy
development program. Now, you may think this program was about improving the
values, knowledge, ethno veterinary practises, healers and the local
biodiversity associated with the native Indian breeds to make the Indian cows
more productive, but you're wrong. This was a program devised by the western
cattle industries who wanted to make money out of the gullible Indian public.
They propagated 'mix breeding' as a solution to improve the milk yield of the
Indian cattle. And through heavy lobbying, there were able to make our
government agree! So instead of improving the milk production of the Indian
cows like any sane government would do, Our tax money was spent in buying the
exotic western bulls and semen, which made the western cattle industry very
happy. They even made our government pass laws that will prohibit breeding of
cows with Indian bulls without a license! One good example would be the Kerala
livestock act of 1962, which PROHIBITS the maintenance of productive,
indigenous bulls by the farmers.
As a result of this indiscriminate mix
breeding, the destruction of the Indigenous cow began. India lost it's nutritious
and safe A2 milk, the ghee & urine of the Indian cow which has numerous
medicinal properties, the dung of the A2 cows which was used as fertilizers by
our farmers. The farmers are now forced to use a chemicals fertilizer which has
poisoned the very food we consume and resulted in many health issues including
impotency.
The hybrid western cows are very
vulnerable to tropical weather and diseases. Unlike the indigenous cow, they
have to be kept in very high-cost, air-cooled, all-weather shelters, and
require expensive stall feeding and medical care. It has been pumped with
antibiotics and it farts methane gas which is the main culprit in global warming.
So I request our Indian milk industry
and government to stop importing of hybrid cows and export of our healthy Indian
bulls and cows. I also request our Indian young stars to go against this
problem too.
Human healthy
India was a vegetarian nation. She still
has about 500 million vegetarians who rely on milk for their protein. Nearly 63
percent of animal protein in the Indian diet comes from dairy products. Cows
are the one of the backbone of India’s rural economy. In milk vitamin-A play
important rule, There are two types of
cow's milk : A1 & A2.
The main difference between the A1 & A2 milk is
their protein component. The protein is of two types : Casein and Whey. There
are different types of casein proteins and one particular type is called the
BETA-CASEIN which has two variations : A1 & A2.
The A1 beta casein is a
highly toxic component while the A2 is harmless and safe.
Your mother's milk is
A2 and so is the Indian cow's. It has micro nutrients like cytokines and
minerals which enhances your immune system. So our Indian cow is rich in A2. So
other country will come to India to get this Natural Indian cows and bulls.
The BCM7(" Beta-Caso-Morphin-7
" the devil in the milk) is an opioid (psychoactive chemical) and when it
gets through from the stomach into the blood, it can cause all sorts of
problems. The human body simply doesn't like this opioid and it tries to react
against it, and depending on the individuals genetic makeup, one could get all
sorts of diseases ranging from juvenile diabetes, autism, allergies and etc. To
make it worse, BCM7 crosses the Blood Brain Barrier. Which means, it could get
in to your brain, resulting in schizophrenia and auto-immune diseases such as
MS and Parkinson's. In children, it could cause several issues for their psycho motor
and physical development (a recent study made by Russian scientists has
confirmed this)
The Indian cow lactates three times more in a year than the hump less variety and hence gives more milk. Actually, the Indian cow is capable of giving more milk in the daily basis than the Western cow if properly bred and maintained. In 2011, a pure Gir Cow (an Indian breed) in Brazil, delivered 10,230 kilolitres of milk a year, with a daily yield of 56.17 kilolitres.
So it to better to use only our Indian breeds.
Other side of banning Jallikattu
Unlike
the western bull, one Indian bull can service up to 40 cows.

The bulls which
were raised for Jallikattu and bullock carts were a big problem for the western
semen selling companies. So they found a way to get rid of them.As western countries know Indian market in milk
production this is all trap by them.
Finally my suggestion to my friends
Protest may cause damage to our public property and also may be some unexpected
dangerous incidents can happen. so simple way to slow is avoid using of foreign
products like Pepsi, Coca-Cola, etc….then automatically PETA will loss this.
It will show unity of our country at same time
it will not cause damage and our country economy will get developed.
